The Site content is for informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice. Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical questions.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you represent you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3) No Guarantee of Study Enrollment

Submitting information through the Site or contacting us does not guarantee you will qualify for or be enrolled in any clinical research study. Eligibility depends on study criteria and screening.

4) Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of any law or regulation

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, servers, or networks

• Interfere with security or operations (e.g., malware, scraping, attacks)

• Submit false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing information

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.

5) Information You Submit

If you submit information through the Site (forms, messages, uploads), you represent it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it. Please do not submit confidential information you do not intend us to receive through a general website form.

Whether your business must display these specific links depends on whether your data practices meet the legal definitions of “sell” or “share,” or whether “sensitive personal information” is used in a way that triggers a “limit” right. If those obligations apply, Angel City Research will provide the required methods for exercising those choices. 

C) Opt-Out Preference Signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control)

Where required, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals for opting out of sale/sharing. 

9) Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

If you opt in to receive SMS text messages from Angel City Research, you agree to the following:

A) Program Description

Messages may include clinical research scheduling, appointment confirmations/reminders, visit instructions, and follow-ups related to clinical research participation.

B) Consent

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you authorize Angel City Research to send SMS messages to that number.

C) Message Frequency

Message frequency varies.

D) Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan.

E) Opt-Out

Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You may receive a final message confirming your opt-out.

F) Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10) Call Recording Notice (California)

If we record phone calls for quality assurance, training, or similar purposes, we will provide notice and obtain any consent required by applicable California law.

11) Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Site will not exceed $100.

13) Indemnification
